Decomposed Granite
Decomposed Granite is a product which creates a fantastic hard wearing footpath, which is great for bushland paths in native gardens, designer spaces and driveways. Decomposed granite creates a beautiful natural textured surface in pink or gold. To save money lay a foundation of road base and top it with decomposed granite in a layer of at least 50mm but may be laid thicker if needed. Off white cement can be raked through Decomposed granite for greater strength – a consideration where there is large amounts of water flow. You should also avoid placing decomposed granite adjoining decking or floorboards as particles may scratch them. If you need help, just ask LMLS!
